MINIATURES STAND OUT AT KELSALL • Steam was a big attraction at this years Kelsall Steam and Vintage Rally, with miniature engines rubbing shoulders with their full-sized counterparts in the parade ring in front of large crowds. David Reed was there too.
FULL STEAM AHEAD AT SUNNY BON ACCORD FAIR • It was full steam ahead on a sunny 20-21 June when over 4,000 people attended Scotland’s largest steam and vintage fair, staged with great expertise at historic Castle Fraser by the Bon Accord Steam Engine Club.

EXTREME STEAM EXTRAVAGANZA • The Ffestiniog & Welsh Highland Railways successfully hosted their highly anticipated Extreme Steam Extravaganza Summer Gala over 19-21 June 2026. Operating under the theme of 'Weird & Wonderful Surprises,' the three-day event delivered an intensive and unusual operational programme that highlighted narrow-gauge vintage and freight stock. A wide variety of operations were showcased, including traditional gravity slate trains, mixed passenger-freight formations, and vintage heritage stock.
ROAD ROLLERS STAR AT TRACTORFEST • Correctly billed as the UK’s largest vintage tractor and engine show, this year’s TractorFest lived up to expectations with 12,000 visitors passing through the gates.
