Gr 2-5-Five titles provide information and history on various U.S. institutions. All are full of solid information; for instance, in Arlington National Cemetery readers learn of the history of the site, including famous burials and the special guard for the tomb. The U.S. Capitol recounts the history the building, and The U.S. Postal Service tells the story of the mail service, including the Pony Express. Despite their brevity (each is less than 30 pages), these books are straightforward and comprehensive. Each includes colorful images. VERDICT Suitable additions to school and public libraries.
